Academic Departments

We admit students into the following departments:

  1. 1. THEOLOGY: This discipline is meant for the student who seeks to be a scholar; a lover of the written word, ancient scripture and symbols, alphabets and languages.
  2. 2. DIVINITY/MINISTRY: Divinity is for seekers of divine presence; a teacher, healer or practitioner of spiritual truths and gifts. Ministry however is for working clergy, missionaries, evangelists, church leaders and interested members of the laity. Combining these disciplines makes the student of this department ready for practical day – to- day ministrations.
  3. 3. MISSIONS/CHURCH HISTORY: This department is meant for students who seek to study about cross – cultural preaching and church planting activities as well as a study of the history of the Christian church. This department also involves the study of biblical archeology.
  4. 4. CHRISTIAN COUNSELING/CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: This department is for students who are interested in providing counseling for members of the church and the public. Christian Education focuses on providing the educational needs of the church such as writing Sunday school manual, tracts, curriculum development and other gospel literature.
  5. 5. BIBLICAL STUDIES: This department is for the student who seeks to study the original languages of the Bible and knowing what the biblical writers meant and intended by what they wrote.
